> SERIES INFO
This body of work consisting of 24 pieces include found object sculpture, mixed media drawings, and one iconic assembled painting. These were exhibited in a solo exhibition titled Bride of Epimetheus at Box Heart Gallery in Pittsburgh, PA in November of 2004.
These intricate abstract works interweave the myth of Pandora with the subjects of Sophia and alchemy, as well as the artist's personal realm of relationships and self. "One Twelfth" in the title of the drawings, alludes to the creation of Pandora in Greek mythology, when each of the twelve gods and goddesses bestowed a unique gift during her creation.
