The dressmaker and the Tailor> SERIES INFO

This body of work consists of ten pieces. They are mixed media paintings that were on view in a solo exhibition titled The Dressmaker and the Tailor at Brandt Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio, in July of 2006.

The work explores the archetypal relationships of The Maker and The Mender, the feminine and the masculine, the physical and the immaterial. The paintings are layered with translucent dress patterns, the paper of steeped tea bags, oil paint, wax, matte medium and sand on canvas
